MINUTES
August 16, 2021
Meeting opened at 6:30 PM by Mayor Guido with the Pledge to
the Flag. In attendance were Mayor Louis A. Guido, Trustee Edward Harvey,
Trustee Ian Feulner, Amy Herr, Clerk-Treasurer, Linda Bouck, Deputy
Clerk-Treasurer and Taylor Miles, DPW Superintendent.
Approval of the July minutes as members received in written
form. It was upon motion of Trustee Feulner,
seconded by Trustee Harvey, unanimously carried, to accept the minutes as
written.

DPW
DPW Superintendent Miles reported
that work has begun on sidewalk replacements.
Quotes for a new tractor were received and reviewed by the Board. DPW Superintendent Miles to get trade in
values on the old tractor and any other equipment that will not be needed to
see how much the tractor bond would need to be before a decision is made on a
purchase.
PARKING
LOT
Attorney Clarke has drafted letters
to Daniel Heinrich about the trailers he owns that are parked at the Village Parking
Lot on Genesee Street. An agreement with Red Point has been drawn up to allow
them to park their trailers along their building. These will be sent out by Attorney Clarke.
WASTEWATER
GRANT
A request for proposal (RFP) will be
sent to Lamont Engineering, Laberge Engineering, Delaware Engineering and McManus
Engineering regarding the wastewater engineering study. RFP’s to be returned by September 16, 2021 to
be reviewed at the next meeting.
ARPA CORONAVIRUS FUNDS
A
quote was received from EJ Prescott for the cost of water meters. The quote was for 104 Mueller Water Meters at
$235.00 each for a total of $24,440.00. These are the same meters that have
been installed previously to start the water meter replacement project. EJ Prescott
is the sole provider of these Mueller Water Meters in New York State. These meters will be ordered.
OTHER
BUSINESS
Mayor Guido has received a quote for
installation of security cameras on Alden Field. The quote from CSI for the higher resolution
cameras is in the amount of $7,711.95. Mayor
Guido to get additional quotes for the security system.
EXECUTIVE
SESSION
Motion made by Trustee Feulner, seconded
by Trustee Harvey, unanimously carried to enter into Executive Session to
discuss a personnel matter at 7:15pm. Motion
made by Trustee Harvey, seconded by Trustee Feulner, unanimously carried to
exit Executive Session at 7:22 pm. No
action taken on discussion in Executive Session.

After review by the board, it was
upon motion of Trustee Feulner, seconded by Trustee Harvey, unanimously carried
to make payment on bills and budget amendments and modifications as follows:
