December 21, 2020

 

Meeting opened at 6:30 PM by Mayor Guido with the Pledge to the Flag. In attendance were Mayor Louis A. Guido, Trustee Ian Feulner, Trustee Edward Harvey, Amy Herr, Clerk-Treasurer and Taylor Miles, DPW Superintendent. 

 

Approval of the November minutes as members received in written form.  It was upon motion of Trustee Feulner, seconded by Trustee Harvey, unanimously carried, to accept the minutes as written.

It was upon motion of Trustee Harvey, seconded by Trustee Feulner, unanimously carried, to accept the report as given.

 

DPW

 

            DPW Superintendent Miles reported that there was a problem with the snow blower during the storm last week.  Todd Godhe assisted with snow removal on the sidewalks and moved the snow piles from the business district.  DPW Superintendent Miles to check on prices for a new snow blower and purchase one.

 

ELECTION

 

            Motion made by Trustee Feulner, seconded by Trustee Harvey, unanimously carried

            RESOLVED to abolish the village registration day.

           

            Motion made by Trustee Harvey, seconded by Trustee Feulner, unanimously carried

            RESOLVED that Tuesday, March 16, 2021 is designated as the day of the village election, the polling place will be at the Village Office, 2 Genesee Street, Cherry Valley, NY and the hours the polls will be open will be 12:00 noon until 9:00 PM.

 

PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY OPERATION PLAN

 

            The current status of the plan was discussed.  This will be continued until the next meeting.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

            Mayor Guido reported that he has been gathering information on Community Solar.  There a couple of companies that has submitted information.  He is reviewing it further and will provide more information at a subsequent meeting.

           

Motion made by Trustee Feulner, seconded by Trustee Harvey, unanimously carried to grant 5 day of Paternity Leave to DPW Superintendent Miles.

 

AUDIT OF CLAIMS

 

            After review by the board, it was upon motion of Trustee Harvey, seconded by Trustee Feulner, unanimously carried to make payment on bills and budget amendments and modifications as follows:
