Joint Public Hearing regarding Local Law #1 of 2022, Joint
Planning Board for the Town and Village of Cherry Valley. In attendance was Tom Garretson, Town Supervisor,
Jim Johnson, Ed VanDerwerker and Mark Cornwell, Town Councilpersons, Mary Beth
Flint, Town Clerk, Martin Field, Town Highway Superintendent, Louis Guido,
Village Mayor, Edward Harvey and Ian Feulner, Village Trustees, Amy Herr,
Village Clerk-Treasurer, Lorraine Bosma, Ellen LaSalle, Frank McGrath, Andy
Minning and Phil Durkin.
Motion made by Ed VanDerwerker, seconded by Jim Johnson to
open the Public Hearing at 6:45 PM.
Trustee Harvey asked a question about how the Planning Board would act
on issues in the Village. Lorraine Bosma
explained that if it regards a village residence, then the Village Ordinances
would be followed. If it regards a town
residence then, the Town Ordinances would be followed.
Motion made by Mark Cornwell, seconded by Jim Johnson to
close the Public Hearing at 7:01 pm.
